Anthony J. Crowley is one of the main characters of the novel Good Omens. He's a demon living on Earth; "an angel who did not so much fall as saunter vaguely downwards." He doesn't really look or act like a cliche demon, just like his counterpart Aziraphale doesn't look or act like a cliche angel. He's rather attached to the world and humans: they fascinate him because of their creativity and their strange nature. Therefore, in the novel, he opposes to the Apocalypse to happen and tries all the tricks he can think of to stop it. Crowley is cunning, stylish, modern, eccentric, and a rather nice guy -for a creature from hell, that is.
